Queen candidates, which are in the front row include Ava Rapp, left to right, Elaine Schieltz, Hannah Williams, Layla Van Culinary, and Sienna Montgomery. King candidates in the back are Isaac Beidelman, left to right, Seth Coker, Bronson Van Culin, Brady Wackler, and Liam Woods.

Newton homecoming festivities will be held Friday, beginning with the homecoming parade at 6 p.m. followed by the homecoming soccer game at 6:30. The homecoming dance will be held on Saturday at Newton High School from 8-10 p.m.
