TROY — Firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of South Mulberry Street on a reported house fire on Thursday.
Fire units were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. and arrived minutes later. Arriving units reported smoke coming from the attic area of the two-story wood-frame structure.
A recall was requested as firefighters went to work to douse the fire that was confined to the attic . Mutual aide was provided by Casstown Fire Department.
The fire was marked “knocked down” by 10 p.m.
The American Red Cross was asked to assist one resident who is temporarily displaced by the fire.
There were no injuries. A cause of the fire and damage estimate have not been released.
