Clothing Drive set for April 3

WEST MILTON — Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Milton is asking for your help. Members of the community are invited to donate good, clean, used clothing for distribution to those in need. This will be a drive-thru event at the church on Sunday, April 3, at 1209 S. Miami Street, West Milton from noon to 3 p.m. Just drive through the front parking lot and someone will come to your vehicle to collect your donations. This is a Lenten Project sponsored by the Senior Shepherd’s Ministry of the church. For more information, please call the church office at (937) 698-5826.

Ginghamsburg Church Blood Drive is April 9

TIPP CITY – “Hop in and Donate” at Ginghamsburg Church community blood drive Saturday, April 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 7695 South County Road 25-A, Tipp City.

Everyone who registers to donate with Community Blood Center April 2 through April 13 is automatically entered in the “Hop in and Donate” drawing to win a 35-pound Esther Price chocolate Easter bunny.

St. Mary Church begins fish fries

PIQUA — The Lenten fish fries at St. Mary Church in Piqua continue Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m. through April 8. Meals will be served in the cafeteria at Piqua Catholic for dine-in or carry out. There will also be a drive-thru to purchase meals.

Drive-thru meals will have a set menu that includes fried fish, macaroni and cheese along with cole slaw and a dinner roll. Dine-in or carry out meals will feature baked or fried fish, French fries or macaroni and cheese, cole slaw or applesauce and a dinner roll.

Adult meals will be $10, seniors and carry-out will be $9 and children 12 and under will be $8.

Serving could change to drive-thru only due to health restrictions.

St. John’s United Church of Christ Troy services

TROY — St. John’s United Church of Christ Troy will be offering 9:30 a.m. Adult Sunday School with the topic: “Mic Drop: Dropping the Mic and Walking Away,” along with a 10:30 a.m. Worship and Sermon on “Short People” by Rev. Don Crist.

Also, this Sunday they will be featuring “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” Skit by: St. John’s Players Tracy Kropp and Sharon Wilson. Please join them. Everyone is welcome here!

Richards Chapel UMC services
