Bradyn Dillow and Anden Kemmers each had one goal and one assist.

Lucas Hickernell had six saves in goal.

WEST MILTON — The Troy Christian boys soccer team maintained a share of first place in the TRC with a road win Thursday.

Max Barnishin had one goal and one assist and Brennan Hochwalt scored a goal.

Marek Bollinger had one assist and Karter Denson had two saves in goal.

BRANDT — The Bethel boys soccer team cruised to a non-conference win Thursday.

“We were able to take control of the match early against a young Eaton squad,” Bethel coach Bob Hamlin said. “Early on, we passed very well and got the ball in some dangerous situations. Finished some good shots and then worked on our game with plenty of subs. A couple of seniors, Evan Goodman and Gabe Veldman, scored their first varsity goal, which is fun. Good team win.”

David Kasimov had two goals and two assists, Phil Dix had two goals and one assist and Kamden Etmans had one goal and one assist.

Goodman, Veldman and Logan Newell had one goal each and Reynaldo Morin Rincon had two assists.

Cody DeLaet and Logan Norris had one assist each and Reid Dix had two saves in goal.

PITSBURG — The Newton boys soccer team got a win at Franklin Monroe Thursday.

Evan Hemphill had a big game with five goals and one assist and Isaac Beidelman had three goals and one assist.

Christian Maxwell had one goal, Dakota Craig and Carson Resides had two assists each and Parker Kanet had one assist.

Elliot Cook had the shutout in goal.

TROY — The Troy volleyball team improved to 8-9 overall and 8-5 in the MVL with a 25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20 win Thursday night.

COVINGTON — The Covington volleyball team made quick work of things in a 25-16, 25-7, 25-2 win to improve to 12-2 overall and 10-0 in the TRC.

Dakohta Kenworthy had nine kills, Taylor Kirker had eight kills, 10 assists and 12 aces and Addison Ventura had six kills, six assists and six digs.

Ramse Vanderhorst had seven digs and Hollan Koffer added six digs.

WEST MILTON — The Miami East volleyball team stayed two games behind Covington in the TRC standings with a 25-19, 25-23, 25-18 win Thursday night.

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 25-13, 25-13, 25-7 win Thursday night.

Sienna Montgomery had 18 kills, Makenna Kesling had 21 assists and Ava Rapp had eight kills and three aces.

Estie Rapp added nine kills and Aubrey Stetzel had nine assists.
