Your agent will help reduce the stress in a highly complicated and high stakes transaction, likely one of the biggest of your life. Having a trusted advisor through the transaction will demystify the home buying or selling process. Your trusted, local agent with their extensive experience will hep you navigate difficult negotiations, write the best offer possible, set the right price for a listing, and help you avoid common mistakes and to help successfully close the transaction, and saving you money and time.

Buying a home is the biggest financial decision most people make. Consumer research has consistently shown that homebuyers and sellers value working with a real estate agent. According to a recent survey of Homebuyers and Sellers, over 90% of homebuyers said that they would use their real estate agent again or would recommend their agent to others.

While the annual surveys of homebuyers and sellers report on opinions about and the experiences while working with agents, the data tends to show that consumers value the knowledge and experience their agent brought to the transaction. They say that having representation is important because agents are experts who understand the buying process, know about local properties, and can handle complications when they arise. Additionally, participants stated that having a professional ensures fewer errors, provides valuable knowledge, protects the buyer from being taken advantage of, makes the process easier, assists with the legal aspects and negotiations, and helps secure the best deal. Over 90% of the participants stated it would be very stressful to navigate the homebuying process without a real estate agent. They felt overwhelmed by the amount of information available online. While they can view homes online, it’s still important to work with an agent and that an agent has knowledge and expertise that is not available through an online portal.
