TROY — The Troy girls cross country team led Miami County teams with a fifth-place finish in the large school race at the Bob Schul Invitational Saturday.

The Trojans top seven included Lily Zimmerman, 14, 21:00.6; Isabel Westerheide, 21, 21:30.1; Aven Spagnola, 30, 22:10.3; Ruby Zimmerman, 49, 22:52.1; Kaylee Strayer, 50, 22:55.1; Kennedy Harlamert, 54, 23:08.0 and Olivia Garrity, 61, 23:14.2.

Bethel was 15th.

The Bees top seven included Olivia Brumbaugh, 19, 21:22.4; Natalie Sonnantine, 40, 22:30.8; Alyssandra Periano, 48, 22:50.6; Taylor Kauff, 206, 30:01.3; Emma Berberich, 229, 32:46.3; Kuycherlapti, 234, 33:03.6 ad Keira Mallett, 245, 34:51.8.

Milton-Union was 16th.

The Bulldogs top seven included Audrey Bates, 26, 22:00.6; Madelyn Korte, 78, 24:02.4; Sydnie Bartlett, 105, 25:04.2; Jessa Lightner, 121, 25:34.3; Alaina Manning, 122, 25:34.6; Amelia Iddings, 154, 26:49.2 and Lola Taylor, 180, 28:09.9.

Piqua was 17th.

D-III Race

Newton girls finished ninth in the small school race.

The Indians runners included Claire Stull, 26, 21:57.7; Emily Flora, 37, 22:25.8; Gentri Deaton, 66, 24:07.7; Ellie Bradshaw, 77, 25:28.9; Evelyn Case, 90, 26:20.4 and Ellie Bauer, 105, 31:05.0.

Covington finished 10th.

Bucc runners included Elyza Long, 3, 20:09.0; Kassidy Turner, 57, 24:35.8; Lucy Welborn, 112, 25:38.9; Willow Pellman, 130, 26:42.6 and Bella Welch, 133, 26:52.4.

Troy Christian finished 16th

Eagle runners included Elisabeth Waltz, 34, 22:21.9; Joy Myers, 103, 25:18.5; Annaliese Erdahl, 141, 27:25.2; Maddy Shope, 162, 30:13.5; Anna Lee, 164, 30:39.8 and Norah Rocke, 179, 33:48.0.

CLAYTON — The Tippecanoe girls finished fouth at the Northmont Invitational Saturday.

The Red Devils top seven included Morgan Collins, 9, 20:56.6; Lucia Ranly, 16, 21:56.1; Katelyn Beeson, 17, 21:56.3; Sydney Labreck, 28, 22:51.3; Kali Greth, 29, 22:59.5; Lauren Anderson, 32, 23:20.6 and Jordan Boose, 42, 24:05.3.

Northwestern Invitational

SPRINGFIELD — The Miami East girls cross country team finished fifth at the Northwestern Invitational.

The Vikings top seven included Grace Shively, 12, 23:23.0; Addy Fine, 14, 23:35.0; Teaghan Kressi, 17, 23:50.0; Isabella Bobello, 35, 25:13.7; Keara Stace, 44, 26:29.7; Grayce Goodin, 67, 30:32.1 and Kara Hale, 70, 31:08.0.

CELINA INVITATIONAL

CELINA — The Lehman Catholic girls cross country team finished fifth in the White race at the Celina Invitational.

Cavalier runners included Ava Reineke, 14, 24:52.4; Anna Minneci, 21, 26:06.6; Noelle Reineke, 25, 26:30.8; Julia Gudorf, 26, 26:32.9; Zippy Bezy, 30, 26:59.6 and Rosemarie Schmiesing, 33, 27:32.5.
