TROY — The Sidney girls soccer team spoiled Troy’s home opener Monday at Ernst Soccer Stadium.

Avery Noll had fired in a goal midway through the first half off a Maddie Wright assist to tie it 1-1, but Sidney wen on to pick up a 4-2 victory.

Addyson Buschur scored a goal off a Noll assist and Abbie Fleenor had seven saves in goal.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe volleyball team picked up a a win at home over Xenia 25-8, 25-6, 25-12.

Savannah Clawson had 11 kills and six digs and Livia Huber added six kills.

Lexi Luginbuhl had five kills and Courtney Post had four blocks.

Emily Aselage had four aces, eight assists and 10 digs and Bri Morris had 11 assists.

Jenna Krim dished out seven assists and Faith Siefring had 12 digs.

WEST CARROLLTON — The Piqua volleyball team got a 25-11, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19 win Monday.

Natalie Hemmert had nine kills and Abigail Kirk added seven, 27 assists, seven aces and 13 digs.

Ella Snyder had seven kills, Audrey Applegate had 23 digs and Megan Hull added 12 digs.

COVINGTON — The Covington volleyball team got a 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 25-17 win over Jackson Center Monday.

Dakota Kenworthy had 15 kills and Taylor Kirker had 11 kills, 27 assists and 14 digs.

Addison Ventura had 16 digs, 11 kills and 17 assists and Ramse Vanderhorst had 30 digs.

Hollan Kofer had 14 digs and Ava Hartwig had six blocks.

Ella Berning was medalist with 42.

Other Tipp scores were Olivia Kreusch 44, Ava Hanrahan 56, Kylee Schreiner 56, Bristol Kovaleski 57 and Adely Deppen 64.

ST. PARIS — The Covington boys golf team won a close match at Lakeland Golf Course.

Matt Dieperink led Covington with a 38.

Other Bucc scores were Brodie Manson 40, Jayden Wackler 43, Caleb Smith 47, Caden Hollingsworth 55 and Brairen Denson 58.

Miami East’s Keidin Pratt was medalist with 37.

Other Viking scores were Chase Posey 40, Owen Haak 46, Adam Lawson 46, Brody Antonides 47 and Simon Latimer 47.

LEWISTOWN — The Bethel boys golf team got a TRC win on the front nine at Cherokee Hills Monday.

Mike Halleg shared medalist honors and led Bethel with a 38.

Other Bees scores were Josh Fiery 39, Logan Norris 40, Philip Dix 40, Gabe Veldman 45 and Ryder Cornwell 58.

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Newton boys golf team dropped a match at Highland Lake Monday.

Will Bowser and Ridge Gray led Newton with 40 each.

Rhett Koffer had a 43 and Atley Rapp added a 46.
