Piqua residents enjoyed watching the skies Saturday, Aug. 31, as at least three hot air balloons floated across town with families and individuals following in their cars, lining the road and waving at those on board the balloons as well as taking photos. A couple of the balloons dropped low over a corn field and Piqua-Troy Road allowing close-ups of the balloons and the chance to see flames flow through them. Paragliders also flew over the area.
