SPRINGFIELD — Tippecanoe, Troy, Bethel and Newton all competed in the Springfield Invitational Wednesday at Reid Park North.

Tippecanoe finished third with a 311 total.

Red Devil scores included Eli Voisard 73, Max Gustavson 76, Sam Dilworth 80, Carson Jackson 82 and Andrew Gagnon 83.

Troy finished fourth with 315 score.

Mitchell Sargent was tournament medalist and led Troy with a two-under par 70.

“Mitchell (Sargent) is playing Reid better than anyone I have had, which bodes well for us at sectionals,” Troy coach Mark Evilsizor said. “Van Davis had his low round ever at Reid and Casey Beckner avoided big numbers. I was pleased with the way the boys played. I feetl like we are right where we need to be.

Other Troy scores were Van Davis 77, Casey Beckner 82, Isaac Burns 86 and Jeffrey Smith 89.

Bethel finished seventh with a 327 score.

Bees scores included Mike Halleg 77, Gabe Veldman 80, Phil Dix 84, Josh Fiery 86 and Logan Norris 88.

Newton finished 15th with a 360 total.

Indians scores included Will Bowser 86, Rhett Koffer 88, Ridge Gray 88, Brady Pleiman 98 and Alex Schaurer 109.

Troy Christian 171,

TROY — The Troy Christian boys golf team got a TRC win at Miami Shores on the fifth man tiebreaker.

Troy Christian scores were Connor Tipton 42, Gabe Barhorst 42, Connor George 43, Trevor Phillips 44, JB Walters 46 and Luke Harris 47.

Covington’s Matt Dieperink was medalist with 38.

Other Bucc scores were Brodie Manson 43, Jayden Wackler 45, Brairen Denson 45, Jackson Hollis 52 and Caleb Smith 53.

TIPP CITY — The Milton-Union boys golf team got a win Wednesday.

Austin Hodkin and Keaton Jones shared medalist honors, with both shooting 41.

Other Bulldog scorers were William Coate 45, Brian Wooddell 50 and Hunter Fraley 50.

MIAMISBURG — The Troy boys golf team improved to 7-0 in the MVL Tuesday at Pipestone Golf Course.

Mitchell Sargent birdied his final hole for a one-under par 35.

NEW CARLISLE — The Bethel boys golf team remained unbeaten in TRC play, defeating Covington 168-204.

Bethel’s Josh Fiery was medalist with 40 and Logan Norris added 41.

Other Bees scores were Gabe Veldman 43, Mike Halleg 44, Philip Dix 45 and Braden Shoup 46.

Covington scores included Brodie Manson 50, Jayden Wackler 50, Caleb Smith 51, Gavin Clark 53, Caden Hollingsworth 54 and Brairen Denson 55.
