TIPP CITY — The Tipp City Street Department will begin the 2024 leaf pickup program on Oct. 7.

The city of Tipp City is informing residents about the following important guidelines to follow:

• Rake leaves into the street, 1 foot from the curb, so storm water will drain.

• Please, do not place limbs, sticks, bricks, rocks or yard debris with leaves in the street. These items cause damage to the equipment, create down time for repairs, and add delay to the leaf pickup schedule.

The collection schedule is as follows:

• Oct. 7-11 and Nov. 4-8 – Areas throughout the city as needed. Areas between Interstate 75 and North Hyatt Street, north of West Main Street;

• Oct. 14-18 and Nov. 12-15 – All areas east of Hyatt Street (north and south of Main Street);

• Oct. 21-25 and Nov. 18-22– Areas between I-75 and South Hyatt Street (south of West Main Street);

• Oct. 28 – Nov. 1 and 25 – Nov. 27 – Areas west of I-75 (north and south of Main Street). – No pickup on Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 28 or the day after Nov 29;

• Nov. 30 – Dec. 3 – Cleanup throughout the city as needed.
