SPRINGFIELD — The Troy boys soccer team improved to 10-2-2 with a 5-2 win at Springfield Saturday.

Bradyn Dillow had a big game with four goals and Samuel Maitlen added one.

Kevin Hipolito had three assists and Joashua Murphy added one assist.

Lucas Hickernell had six saves in goal.

BRANDT — The Bethel boys soccer team improved to 11-2 with an easy win as Bethel coach Bob Hamlin picked up his 475th victory.

“We jumped out early, scoring three times in the first eight minutes,” Hamlin said. “The ease of the victory was a surprise to me. Kenton Ridge has been playing well lately and is always a tough opponent. However, we came out and attacked well. We got in behind their back line and put them constantly under pressure. Very unselfish play, love to see it.”

Phil Dix had two goals and one assist and David Kasimov added one goal and three assists.

Reynaldo Rincon Morin had one goal and two assists, Nick Falkenstein, Cody DeLaet and Izak Lyon had one goal each and John Gulaliev had one assist.

Tessa Fuller had one goal and one assist and Kate Copp and Rayann Lowe scored goals.

TROY — The Troy Christian volleyball team got a 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 win Saturday at the Eagles Nest.

Maddie Fourman had 11 kills and 11 digs, Chloe Simmons had nine kills and 20 digs, Myla Toney had nine kills and Reign Wilkins had nine kills, three aces and 11 digs.

Jenna Borton had eight kills and three blocks, Taylor Bechtol had 43 assists and seven digs and Olivia Simmons had four aces and 11 digs.

Covington goes

1-2 at New Bremen

NEW BREMEN — The Covington volleyball team went 1-2 Saturday at the New Bremen tournament.

Covington defeated Lima Shawnee 25-21, 27-25, lost to Versailles 25-21, 25-14 and lost to New Bremen 25-10, 25-12.

Against Shawnee, Dakohta Kenworthy had six kills and eight digs, Hollan Koffer had six kills and 17 digs and Taylor Kirker had five kills and eight assists.

Addison Ventura had nine assists and Ramse Vanderhorst had 15 digs.

Against Versailles, Koffer had 17 digs and Vanderhorst had 14 digs.

Against New Bremen, Kirker had five assists and Vanderhorst had 14 digs.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Bethel volleyball team lost 25-13, 25-10, 25-21 Saturday.
