Lehman Catholic 2024 homecoming king, queen crowned

SIDNEY — Lehman Catholic High School (LCHS) alumni, family, and friends gathered at Sidney Memorial Stadium to celebrate 2024 homecoming.

The evening commenced with pre-game ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Introductions included the Homecoming Grand Marshall Mr. TJ Fink and members of the 2024 homecoming court, according to a press release from Lehman Catholic.

The Lehman Catholic 2024 homecoming court included:

• Senior queen candidates: Bailey Cooper, daughter of Kyle Cooper, and the late Alan Cooper, of Sidney; Isabel Flores Berlanga, daughter of Ernesto Flores and Rocío Berlanga, of Troy; Callie Giguere, daughter Jamie and Angie Giguere, of Piqua; Anya Kolb, daughter of Kurt Kolb and Christina “Pixie” Bretney, of Sidney; and Sophia Magoteaux, daughter of Ken and Amy Magoteaux, of Sidney.

• Senior king candidates: Cole Bostick, son of Rodney and Beckitt Bostick, of Troy; Daniel Carlisle, son of Pat and Diana Carlisle, of Troy; Jack Earhart, son of Mike and Stacey Earhart, of Troy; Alexander Lundy, son of Brian and Kris Lundy, of Sidney; and Brennan Potts, son of Tom and Jana Potts, of Sidney.

Introductions were followed by the crowning of the 2024 homecoming queen and king, Anya Kolb, daughter of Kurt Kolb and Christina “Pixie” Bretney, of Sidney, and Jack Earhart, son of Mike and Stacey Earhart, of Troy.

After the crowning, the LCHS cheerleaders welcomed the Lehman Catholic Cavalier football team onto the field and the Lehman Limelighters sang the National Anthem. The football game between Lehman Catholic High School and Bethel High School kicked off at 7 p.m. The game ball sponsors were Bob Schulze Insurance and Midwest Pest & Wildlife Control. The Cavaliers won, 22 to 7.

Lehman Catholic High School is the only state-chartered, Roman-Catholic comprehensive institution that provides secondary education for the students of Auglaize, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby counties in West Central Ohio. The school is dually accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
