MIAMISBURG — The Newton boys golf team finished 10th at the D-III district golf tournament Monday at Pipestone Golf Course, while Covington finished 11th.
Lehman Catholic’s Henry Petersen led local golfers with a 79, while teammate Jack Williams carded an 87.
Rhett Kobber led Newton with 87 and Will Bowser carded an 88
Other Newton scores were Ridge Gray 93, Braden Pleiman 108 and Alec Schaurer 115.
Matt Dieperink led Covington with an 81.
Other Bucc scores were Brodie Manson 91, Jayden Wackler 100, Brairen Denson 116 and Caleb Smith 117.
