EATON — The Troy boys cross country team finished third in the Ed Leas Fall Classic Purple race Saturday.

Troy’s top seven included Elijah Buschur, 3, 16:36.1; Chet Snyder, 9, 17:18.7; Ryan McChesney, 10, 17:19.8; Noah Zink, 12, 17:25.2; Samuel Swanson, 18, 17:45.2; Gavin Romberger, 23, 17:55.8 and Ethan White, 35, 18:28.9.

Anna Invitational

ANNA — Tippecanoe’s Landon Kimmel ran away with the Anna Invitational Saturday, leading the Red Devils to victory.

Kimmel blazed to the finish line in 14:57.7, more than two minutes ahead of the second-place runner.

The rest of Tippecanoe’s top seven included Everett Muhlenkamp, 10, 17:03.9; Luke Schwieterman, 11, 17:04.5; Dimitri Hartman, 12, 17:04.6; Will Hept, 19, 17:28,5; Eli Ramos, 26, 17:35.9 and Elias Stienecker, 30, 17:43.0.

Bethel finished 10th.

The Bees top seven included Kade Schweikhardt, 28, 17:39.6; Justin Brinson, 29, 17:41.3; Patrick Firstenberger, 38, 17:52.3; Michael Trussel, 67, 18:37.8; Cullen Firstenberger, 138, 20:18.3; Caleb Ratliff, 158, 20:44.2 and Caleb Wrobel, 200, 22:03.7.

Covington finished 12th.

The Buccs top seven included Beck Wilson, 27, 17:36.9; Calub Hembree, 90, 19:14.3; Preston King, 19:19.7; Kent Welborn, 127, 19:59.6; Zaiden Maroney, 136, 20:15.6; Edison Deaton, 156, 20:42.5 and Landon Reynolds, 160, 20:47.2.

Troy Christian finished 15th.

The Eagles runners included Steven Edmonds, 69, 18:47.2; Jacob Pierce, 83, 18:59.0; Landon Patel, 93, 19:15.7; Henry Rupnik, 167, 20:55.8 and Rhett Baldwin, 201, 22:04.5.

Ed Leas Fall Classic

EATON — The Troy girls finished third in the Ed Leas Fall Classic Purple race.

The Trojans top seven included Avyn Spagnola, 12, 20:43.2; Isabel Westerheide, 15, 21:10.0; Ruby Simmerman, 27, 22:10.9; Kaylee Strayer, 30, 22:17.7; McKenna Lynch, 43, 23:11.6 and Kennedy Harlamert, 49, 23:31.1.

Anna Invitational

ANNA — Morgan Collins led the Tippecanoe girls cross country team to a third-place finish at the Anna Invitational Saturday.

Collins finished fifth in 20:14.4.

The rest of the Red Devils top seven included Lucia Ranly, 18, 20:57.2; Katelyn Beeson, 22, 21:14.5; Audrey Davis, 42, 22:32.3; Kali Greth, 45 , 22:35.2; Lauren Anderson, 61, 23:18.4 and Jordan Boose, 72, 23:52.5.

Bethel finished 11th.

The Bees top seven included Olivia Brumbaugh, 15, 20:44.9; Ayssandro Periano, 32, 22:02.1; Natalie Sonnantime, 41, 22:31.7; Taylor Kaeff, 120, 26:02.0; Evelyn Adams, 148, 27:40.7; Emma Berberich, 183, 30:39.9 and Keira Mallett, 185, 31:19.3.

Covington finished 13th.

The Buccs runners included Elyza Long, 9, 20:29,3; Kassidy Turner, 43, 22:32.6; Lucy Welborn, 97, 24:56.1; Bella Welch, 106, 25:20.9; Willow Pellman, 129, 26:21.6 and Serenity Weaver, 171, 28:38.0.
