TIPP CITY — The Tipp City American Legion Post 586 will sponsor a reverse raffle drawing on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the post home at 377 N. Third St.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The drawing is open to the public however you must have a ticket to participate.

Tickets are $25 each, which includes entry to the drawing and a baked spaghetti dinner, and are currently available for purchase at the post or from many members of the American Legion Post Family.

For this event, only 200 tickets are sold and the objective is to be the last ticket drawn to earn the largest prize.

The tickets are drawn over a few hours, with multiple prizes awarded throughout the night. The prize amounts vary during the evening from $25 to $200. The second to last ticket out will receive $400 and the final ticket out will receive $1,000.

This is the fun of the reverse drawing you must wait until the end. There will also be a door prize of $100 which will be drawn at the end of the evening. You must be present to win the door prize, all other prizes during the drawing are guaranteed even if you are not present.

There will be a 50/50 drawing and a raffle for a diamond necklace from Kay Jewelers valued at $150. The drawings for the 50/50 and the diamond necklace will be held at the end of the reverse drawing program and you must also be present to win these drawings.

The Legion Post is conveniently located across from the city park with plenty of parking in the back of the Post. Please come out and enjoy this event.
