TROY — Health Partners Free Clinic announces the appointment of Dr. Mark Corcoran, MD, as its new medical director.

Prior to his retirement, Corcoran spent 25 years providing patients with care through his private family practice in Englewood, said a press release. He also worked at Upper Valley Medical Center for seven years, as well as the Dayton VA Medical Center for three years. He joined the team at Health Partners as a volunteer provider this summer, where he continues to see patients of all ages during walk-in clinics twice monthly.

Corcoran shares it was the clinic’s reputation in the community that initially drew him to volunteer for the organization.

“I enjoy giving back to the community,” said Corcoran in the release.

Health Partners Free Clinic provides high-quality health care for the uninsured and underserved residents of Miami County and beyond. All services provided by the clinic, including medications, are available free of charge. The organization has served the community for 25 years.
