TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is hosting a free family Halloween event.

Boo Bash 2024 is set for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p..m. at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, located at 301 W. Main St., Troy.

The Boo Bash began in 2014 during the year-long celebration of the Hayner Mansion’s 100th birthday, said a Hayner press release. The Boo Bash is a family event that includes games, crafts, refreshments, and kid-friendly Halloween stories. Children who complete a ghostly list of activities will earn a prize.

The entire family is welcome at this free public event. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is supported by the citizens of the Troy City School District through a local tax levy and generous gifts to the Friends of Hayner.

Hours of operation are Monday 7 to 9 pm,; Tuesday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 to 5 pm.
