The volleyball sectional tournaments will get underway Saturday, with an expansion from four divisions to seven this year.
Nine teams will be in action Saturday.
DIVISION III
Tippecanoe and Piqua will both be in action Saturday.
Tippecanoe, 21-1 and two seed, will play 16 seed West Carrollton at 1 p.m. at Fairborn High School.
Piqua, the 8 seed, will play the winner of nine seed Chaminade-Julienne and 12 seed Xenia at 11 .m. at Xenia High School.
DIVISION IV
Troy will be hosting a D-IV sectional.
On Saturday, 8 seed Bethel will play seed Meadowdale at Troy.
DIVISION V
Two teams will be in action Saturday.
Number 4 seed Miami East will play 9 seed Preble Shawnee at 1 p.m. at Brookville High School.
Number 7 seed Milton-Union will play 2 seed Dayton Christian at 1 p.m. at the Vandalia-Butler SAC.
DIVISION VI
There will be four teams in action Saturday.
Three of those teams are in the Newton section.
Number two seed Covington plays 16 seed Bradford at 2 p.m.
That will be followed by 6 seed Lehman Catholic playing 10 seed Fairlawn at 3:30 p.m.
In the Trotwood sectional, 8 seed Newton will play 7 seed Mississinawa Valley at noon.
