TROY – On Tuesday, Jan. 4, the Miami County Commissioners met to authorize a few agreements.
The commissioners approved the Miami County Visitors and Convention Bureau’s 2021 and 2022 budgets, which were submitted in Oct. 2020 and Oct. 2021.
Then they appointed Richard Osgood to the Miami County Visitors and Convention Bureau Board of Trustees, which is effective Jan. 1, 2022 through Dec. 31, 2024. Commissioner Wade Westfall thanked the Miami County Visitors and Convention Bureau for “everything they do for this county in these very difficult, trying times […] you’re doing well.”
Next, the commissioners approved the resignation of William Collins for the position of Investigator 2 for the Department of Job and Family Services which is effective Jan. 27. Since Collins will be resigning, the commissioners then approved the requisition of the position (part-time Investigator 2 with Job and Family Services) for the pay rate of $15.52-$23.96.
