PIQUA — The Piqua boys golf team dropped a match to Vandalia-Butler 156-167 on the front nine at Echo Hills.

Piqua is now 4-1 in the MVL.

Hunter Steinke and Evan Clark both shot 39 for Piqua.

Lance Lawson had a 44, Aiden Applegate and Gabe Sloan carded 45s and Blake Walling had a 50.

SIDNEY — In a big TRC boys golf matchup Wednesday, Bethel got a win at Shelby Oaks Golf Course.

Bethel’s Joshua Fiery and Logan Norris shared medalist honors with 39.

Other Bethel scores were Mike Halleg 41, Philip Dix 41, Gabe Veldman 42 and Ethan Wishon 44.

Milton-Union 180

TIPP CITY — The Miami East boys golf team got a TRC win Wednesday.

Keidin Pratt was medalist for Miami East with 37.

Other Viking scorers were Owen Hoak 43, Brady Antonides 45, Simon Latimer 45 and Chase Posey 45.

Milton-Union scorers were Austin Hodkin 43, William Coate 44, Hunter Fraley 46 and Brian Wooddell 47.

NEW CARLISLE — The Bethel boys golf team improved to 27-2 on the season and 10-0 in the TRC with a win over Troy Christian at Sugar Isle.

Joshua Fiery was match medalist with 35 for Bethel.

Other Bees scores were Mike Halleg 40, Logan Norris 42, Gabe Veldman 42, Philip Dix 45 and Owen Moorman 45.

Troy Christian scores were Gabe Barhorst 42, Connor Tipton 44, Luke Harris 47, Connor George 49, JB Walters 53 and Landry Niles 60.

PIQUA — The Covington boys golf team picked up a win at Echo Hills Tuesday.

Matt Dieperink led the Buccs with a one-under par 35.

Other Covington scores were Brodie Manson 37, Jayden Wackler 44, Brairen Denson 49 and Caleb Smith 49.

PIQUA — The Newton boys golf team got a win at Echo Hills Tuesday.

Rhett Koffer and Will Bowser led the Indians, with both players carding a 43.
