BRADFORD — September at Bradford Public Library brings the return of its fall programming
Listed below is what the library has planned for September:
Preschool Story Hour returns on Sep. 10. Story is offered on Tuesdays from 11-noon and is open for any child 3 years old through those not attending kindergarten. Filled with games, crafts, songs, activities and stories, this program will help prepare your preschooler for kindergarten. Registrations are required to attend. Please call by the Friday prior to attending to sign up so we can prepare. Story hour meets for six weeks followed by a break week. Please see the registration sheet for changes in this schedule.
Senior Citizens will be playing euchre weekly on Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. This lively group is always looking for more players!
We will be bleaching a shirt and a bag with a stenciled fall design during our September Just Glue It on Sept. 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. Participants will need to bring their own dark colored T shirt that has been washed and dried. Bags will be provided. Registration is required to attend and space is limited to 24 participants. Call us to sign up at 937-448-2612.
BINGO for adults will be held on Sep. 19 from 1:30-3:30. Participants are welcome to bring a prize valued at $5 or less to share if they wish. No registration is needed.
The month will end with our Fall Book Sale from the Sept. 23-28. We will have a wide variety of gently used books available for a donation. We will be passing on all donations to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to help support this amazing service that sends a free book to children every month from birth to their fifth birthday. Come grab some winter reading material and help encourage literacy in our children!
We are currently accepting vendors for our Annual Handmade Holiday Craft Show. This year’s Craft show will be held on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All items in the sale must be handmade, no exceptions. Please call us to get your name on the vendor list or for more information.
