TROY — A man was taken by CareFlight Monday morning after fleeing Troy Police and crashing into Summit Holiness Tabernacle church on South Mulberry Street in Troy.

Zachary Henry, 36, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after the crash, according to a press release from the Troy Police Department.

At approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, police spotted Henry, who had active warrants out for his arrest, driving near East Main Street and Floral Avenue. Henry then fled, traveling westbound on East Canal Street, lost control of his vehicle when crossing the railroad tracks at a high rate of speed, and crashed into the Summit Holiness Tabernacle church at the corner of South Mulberry Street and East Canal Street.
