PIQUA — Established in 1996, The Summer Feeding Program at The Salvation Army Piqua Corps was born from the vision of Major Margaret Starnes when she and her husband, Major Ron Starnes, were the corps officers.

PIQUA — Meals on Wheels of Piqua recently received funding from the Upper Valley Medical Center Community Benefit Fund to assist with increased demand over the past year due to COVID-19.

The pair completed their painting chores in time to take part in the annual Piqua High School Academic Signing Day where both girls, along with 26 of their classmates, were recognized for their academic achievements and commitment to further their education at the college level.

TIPP CITY — Tipp City Public Library Youth Services Librarian Heidi Martin has announced 128 new items were recently added to the children’s and teen collections at the library to help young people who have dyslexia or are struggling to read at grade level.

WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union MVCTC FFA Chapter hosted its annual parent-member banquet Saturday, May 15.

PIQUA — The fourth concert of the video concert series to benefit local musicians premieres at 7 p.m. Friday, May 21 with a performance from ReFlektion. The series is being hosted by the Piqua Arts Council.
