Covington third graders came to the camp at the Fort Rowdy Gathering in Covington for their field trip Friday, Aug. 30. They walked across the bridge into the pre 1840s encampment and enjoyed seeing the blacksmith, inside of a teepee, children’s games, tomahawk, Archery, atlatl, and music.
