PIQUA — GeNell’s Flowers is participating in Petal It Forward, a national initiative, on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Members of GeNell’s Flowers will be in Piqua at the corner of Spring and High Streets, by Winan’s, on Wednesday, at 7:30 a.m. and also later at the southwest corner of the Troy Square at noon on on Wednesday, handing out two bouquets to each passerby — one for them to keep and one for them to give as a gift.

“Flowers make folks happy, so love this initiative that encourages folks to spread happiness with flowers!” said a press release from the flower shop. “We will have enough to give roughly 100 people two bouquets at each of these times/locations.”
