TROY — A man from Lost Creek Township lost his life in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening.

Bruce S. Redick, 55, died as a result of the crash, according to a press release from Chief Deputy Steve Lord with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred on North Alcony Conover Road and East state Route 55 in Lost Creek Township on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at approximately 5:04 p.m.

The crash occurred due to failure to stop at a stop sign, said the release. Each of the two vehicles were solely occupied.

The other driver, whose name has not been released yet, was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation determined that seat belts were used.

The crash remains under investigation.
