Crashes

First responders were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday evening in Bradford at the intersection of state Route 721 and U.S. Route 36 East.

Darke County Deputies and Bradford Fire & Rescue responded to the scene of the crash on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at approximately 5:27 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed a black Ford Focus, operated by Tiffany Thompson, 42, of Troy, was traveling east on U.S. Route 36 at state Route 721. A white Nissan Pathfinder, driven by Sonya Blevins, 54, of West Milton, was stopped on state Route 721 facing south at the stop sign. Blevins failed to yield the right of way to Thompson, the driver of the Ford, and the two collided.

Blevins was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy for suspected minor injuries by Bradford Rescue.

This crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
