TIPP CITY — Dinner & Demo from plate to palate will be on Friday, Oct. 4th at 6 p.m. at the Tipp Center. The deadline for this portion of the event is Sunday, Sept. 15th.

All artists & art lovers are invited to attend. You do not have to be an artist to enjoy this great evening of food and art. Bella Sorella will cater. If you have never had the pleasure of dining with Bella, they have amazing wood-fired pizza, authentic Italian pasta, savory salads, and scrumptious desserts. You get to enjoy their culinary delights while Chuck Marshall, a master artist, delights us with a plein air-style demo.

Nationally known native Ohio artist Chuck Marshall developed an early love and respect for the outdoors and art. Chuck knew he was going to be an artist from a very early age. He would spend hours each day sketching images of fields, hillsides, and animals that he would see while roaming the countryside. Chuck has been invited to and participated in many national plein air events.” (Chuck Marshall Fine Art) Chuck will not only demo on Friday but will also judge on Saturday.

On Saturday, Oct. 5th, you can watch participating artists downtown or in other areas of Miami County. “Tipp City was recently named one of the eight best downtowns in Ohio for 2024” by World Atlas. So while you are in town, make sure to stop in at our quaint downtown shops and delicious eateries. A children’s Plein Air will be set up in front of Topsy Turvy Toys on Main Street; all young artists participating will be entered in a drawing for prizes! Then, make sure to attend the Wet Paint Sale at the Tipp Center, where many of the paintings created that day will be offered for sale. Not only does the Wet Paint Sale & Competition offer a plethora of beautiful paintings to enjoy, but you also have the opportunity to purchase great art and mingle with the artists at this portion of the event
