TIPP CITY — The Run for the Mums 5K, presented by Tipp Monroe Community Services (TMCS), registered nearly 300 participants in its 45th annual event which was held in conjunction with the Tipp City Mum Festival.

Participants and their supporters gathered at the Tippecanoe High School football field after finishing the run on to await the announcement of the winners of each age group. Phil Cox, a long-time supporter and participant of the run and TMCS programs, was the emcee for the event.

Salyer also won a $100 Meijer gift card for the fastest time.

Awards were also given to the top three finishers in each age group. Second and third-place winners in each age group also received medals. All race results can be found at cantstoprunningco.com.
