Aug. 25-31

According to Brian K. Hathaway, Spirit EMS president/CEO, there were five emergency medical dispatches for Aug. 25-31, which is three more than the week prior.

All but one of the calls originated in the Houston EMS district — covering Loramie and Washington Townships and the village of Lockington, while excluding the village of Russia. One call was outside the district.

Two patients were transported from the scene to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. Spirit EMS crews responded and took a refusal after the evaluation of two patients. Crews also responded to a call dispatched outside the district and tended to the patient’s care until Sidney Fire/EMS arrived. Russia Fire first responders and Shelby County deputies also responded to a call and assisted EMS crews. All responses were from the Spirit EMS satellite station located at 5125 Russia-Houston Road in Houston.

Spirit EMS responded to 100% of its dispatched calls.

Aug. 18-24

According to Brian K. Hathaway, Spirit EMS president/CEO, there were two emergency medical dispatches for the week of Aug. 18-24, which is four less than the week prior.

Both calls originated in the Houston EMS district — covering Loramie and Washington Townships, as well as the village of Lockington, while excluding the village of Russia.

Both patients were transported from the scene to local hospitals – one to Wilson Health in Sidney and the other to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. All responses were from the Spirit EMS satellite station located at 5125 Russia-Houston Road in Houston.

Spirit EMS responded to 100% of its dispatched calls.
