TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe volleyball team remained unbeaten with a 25-9, 25-16, 25-7 win over Piqua at Tippecanoe High School Thursday.

“Had a very good first set with 12 kills and six aces, but got a little erractic in the second set on out of system play,” Tippecanoe coach Howard Garcia said. “We were still able to regroup with the last nine points the products of kills. The third set the team did respond with great serve receive and poise on the defensive end. Like how we bounced back and took control of the match.”

For Tippecanoe, Emily Aselage had 13 kills and three blocks, Lexi Luginbuhl had seven kills and two blocks and Courtney Post had six kills and two blocks.

Jenna Krimm had 20 assists and three aces and Bri Morris had nine assists and three aces.

Savannah Clawson had 12 digs and Faith Siefring led the defense with 14 digs.

COVINGTON — The Covington volleyball team remained unbeaten in TRC play with a 25-14, 25-19, 26-24 win Thursday night.

TROY — The Miami East volleyball team won a marathon match 25-19, 25-20, 16-25, 22-25, 15-13 at the Eagles Nest Thursday in TRC play.

Jaycie Roeth had 15 kills and five blocks for the Vikings, Emma Stapleton had 12 kills and Jorgie Roeth added nine kills.

Kylie Gentis had 18 assists, four aces and 11 digs, Jersey Cutlip had 16 assists, three aces and 13 digs and Skyla Kerns served three aces.

Kamryn Apple led the defense with 29 digs and Emma Rust had 14 digs.

BRANDT — The Bethel volleyball team cruised to a 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 win in TRC action Thursday.

Annabelle Adams had seven kills and three aces, Aubrey Bunting had six kills and three aces and Kyra Clawson had 12 assists and four aces.

Muskaan Sandhu and Addison Boggs had four aces each, Layla Moore served three aces and Claire Bailey had 10 digs.

DEGRAFF — The Lehman Catholic volleyball won 25-21, 25-16, 25-12 on the road Thursday night.

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton volleyball team cruised to a 25-13, 25-15, 25-11 win Thursday in WOAC action.

Sienna Montgomery had 13 kills and three aces, Ava Rapp had seven kills and Makenna Kesling had 14 assists and four aces.

Estie Rapp had eight kills and three aces, Aubrey Stetzel had nine assists and three aces and Hannah Williams served three aces.
