Tippecanoe Historical Society continues history recording sessions

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe Historical Society is continuing their oral history recording sessions with a session planned for Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Tipp Seniors building on North Hyatt Street.

Those attending may arrive any time after 1 p.m. and the taping will begin at 2 p.m. Bring your own drink, and snacks will be available, said a press release from the Tippecanoe Historical Society.

The topic will be growing up in Tipp City during the ‘40s and ’50s.

The panel will include: Becky Moser Mattox and Diane Brundrett Voyentizie, Class of ‘61; Rex Spencer, Class of ‘60; and Mike Jackson, Class of ‘64.

“Audience participation is encouraged. This is open to all. Come join us for a fun afternoon!” said the release.
