PIQUA — The Tippecanoe boys soccer team topped Piqua 6-0 in MVL action Tuesday night.

Cameron Smith had two goals and one assist, Colin Turner had one goal and one assist and Dominic Mendiola, Gabe Morgan and Collin Snyder had one goal each.

Landon Haas had two assists and Carter Coble, AJ Jergens and Maddox Robinson had one assist each.

Jace Sawyer had one save in goal.

For Piqua, Tanner Stevens and Troy Thompson combined for five saves in goal.

LEWISBURG — The Newton girls soccer team dropped a road game Tuesday.

Brilie Hines had one goal and one assist, Meg Yoder had one goal and Gwen Holbrook had one assist.

Breanna Ingle had 14 saves in goal.

Vandalia-Butler 2

TROY — The Troy volleyball team improved to 7-8 on the season and got a big win by outlasting Butler 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12 to split the season series.

Julia Kirner had 12 kills, 13 assists and 12 digs and Reagan Duff added 10 kills.

Sydney Astor and Sophie Michalos had nine kills each and Kayla Huber had 23 assists and served eight aces.

Noel Baker had 10 digs, Lauren Koesters had nine digs and Livi Luciano led the defense with 20 digs.

Tippecnoe 3,

Stebbins 0

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe volleyball tema remained unbeaten with a 25-11, 25-10, 25-14 win over Stebbins Tuesday in MVL action.

“Setters did a great job moving the ball around with many contributions by the entire squad,” Tippecanoe coach Howard Garcia said. “Team got a good chance to work on things that we needed to improve defensively, which was a plus. Defense was again solid, limiting Stebbins to seven kills.”

Savannah Clawson had seven kills, eight digs and four aces and Emily Aselage had seven kills.

Bri Morris dished out 11 assists and Jenna Krimm added 10 assists.

Gena Kinsman served seven aces and had seven digs and Faith Siefring had six aces and 10 digs.

Fairborn 2

FAIRBORN — The Piqua volleyball team outlasted Fairborn on the road with a 25-11, 18-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-10 win Tuesday in MVL action.

BRANDT — The Covington volleyball team stayed perfect in TRC play and completed a sweep of the season series with Bethel with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-20 win Tuesday night.

Dakohta Kenworthy had five kills for Covington and Taylor Kirker had nine assists and nine digs.

Addison Ventura had eight assists, seven digs, four blocks and four aces, Ramse Vanderhorst had 19 digs and three aces and Hollan Koffer had 11 digs.

For Bethel, Layla Moore had 11 kills, Aubrey Bunting had six kills and Annabelle Adams had five kills and 11 assists.

Kyra Clawson had 15 assists, Jordyn Pham had 15 digs, Addison Boggs had 13 digs and Claire Bailey had nine digs.

CASSTOWN — The Miami East volleyball team handled Lehman Catholic 25-12, 25-21, 25-20 Tuesday to stay within two games of Covington in the TRC.

Khalia Lawrence had nine kills and three blocks for East, Whitni Enis had six kills, three aces and nine digs and Jaycee Roeth had six kills and three aces.

Emma Stapleton added five kills, Jersey Cutlip had 15 assists and seven digs and Kylie Gentis added 14 assists and nine digs.

Kamryn Apple had nine digs, Emma Rust had eight digs and Avery Yeaple had two blocks.

PITSBURG — The Newton volleyball team outlasted Franklin Monroe 25-21, 10-25, 25-19, 24-26, 15-3 Tuesday in WOAC action.

Sierra Montgomery pounded 25 kills and served four aces, Ava Rapp had 13 kills and Estie Rapp added seven kills.

Makenna Kesling had 18 assists and Aubrey Stetzel dished out 25 assists and serve four aces.

ARCANUM — The Bradford volleyball team dropped a WOAC match 25-9, 25-10, 25-15 Tuesday night.
