SPRINGFIELD — Bethel rallied from a 3-0 deficit to remain unbeaten on the season Saturday.

“It took us a bit to warm up on a warm afternoon,” Bethel coach Bob Hamlin said. “We dropped behind 3-0 with 18 minutes left in the first half, but from that point forward outscored them 8-1. I had confidence in the team to be able to come back from the deficit. We were not playing bad early on, just not on all cylinders,

“We chipped away and got the score tied 4-4 before half and the momentum had completely swung our way. I feel we have a deep bench and it helps us to continue putting pressure on when our subs enter the field. I think we really wore them down in the second half.”
