PIQUA — Mark and Pamela (Peltier) Johnston, of Piqua, plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 28, during an open house at Vandemark Farms.

The couple were married on March 29, 1974, by Father Angelo Caserta at St. Mary Church in Piqua.

The Johnstons share four children, Jeremy (and Carean), of Troy, Alicia (and Russ), of Winter Park, Florida, Nathan (and Kyle) or Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, and Nicholas (and Melissa) of Piqua; as well as seven grandchildren.

Mark is employed at Mark Johnston, CPA, Accounting Firm, located in Piqua; while Pamela is a retired bookkeeper at Stilwell-Thoma Jewelry Store, in Piqua.

The couple plans to celebrate at Vandemark Farms beginning at 6 p.m., but ask for gifts to be omitted.
