Piqua firefighters John Minton, left, and Piqua Assistant Fire Chief Tim Risner found a way to cool off during National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 6, as they enjoyed some ice cream cones at Indian Ridge subdivision in Piqua where a large number of residents gathered to interact with first responders including Piqua Police, Miami County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Piqua firefighters and other first responders. Lots of activities, food and fun were part of the event. The annual National Night Out helps to build relationships between law enforcement and the community.
