UVCC announces students of the quarter

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center (UVCC) has named the students of the quarter for the first nine-week grading period of the 2024-2025 school year. These students were selected from a group of eight students nominated by the faculty for the quarter honors.

Nominations for Student of the Quarter are made by career-technical program instructors with attendance, citizenship, leadership, and effort taken into account. In addition, the student’s academic instructors are asked to rate each nominee’s effort during the nine-week grading period.

The following students received the following awards:

Christian Stevens – Robotics and Automation – Troy High School.

Tyler Yarkosky – Welding Technologies – Jackson Center High School.

Justin Barthauer – Ag and Power Technologies – Fairlawn High School.

Award of merit:

Madison Lucas – Early Childhood Education and Care – Piqua High School.

Annelise Magoto – Cosmetology – Russia High School.

Courtney Weidner – Interactive Media – Houston High School.

Cydney Grauman – Early Childhood Education and Care – Houston High School.

Cori Haines – Interactive Media – Newton High School.
