To the editor:
A vote for Trump is a vote for the end of democracy and a vote in support of a traitor to the United States. It is a vote that says the attacks on Police Officers by Trump’s mob mean nothing. That the resulting death of Officer Brian Sicknick means nothing; that the death of Ashli Babbitt, a direct result of her belief in the lies of Trump, proven as such, means nothing. A vote for Trump is an attack on the individual freedoms and liberties won and protected by true American patriots in battles during war and in standing for the American people and the rule of law. Not the traitors flying a Trump flag over the United States Capitol. A vote for Trump is a vote to silence those freedoms. It says that you have forgotten how close we came to losing them on January 6th. “The short memories of the American voters is what keeps our politicians in office.” (Will Rogers).
