TROY — The Troy girls basketball team heads into a big game Wednesday night after cruising past Greenville 60-14 Saturday.

Troy, 9-5 overall and 9-1 in the MVL, travels to West Carrollton — who is 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the MVL.

On Saturday, Troy led 13-6, 32-10 and 51-11 at the quarter breaks.

Macie Taylor had 19 points, eight rebounds and four steals and Jovie Studebaker had 15 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Makenzee Maschino had nine points and three steals and Kiyah Baker scored eight points.

Butler 50,

Piqua 10

PIQUA — Piqua didn’t score in the second half, dropping to 1-11 overall and 1-9 in the MVL.

Butler led 18-3, 31-10 and 44-10 at the quarter breaks.

Covington 38,

Troy Christian 22

TROY — The Covington girls basketball team got a TRC win at the Eagles Nest.

Covington is 11-3 overall and 6-2 in the TRC, while Troy Christian drops to 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the TRC.

Covington led 8-6, 21-6 and 27-15 at the quarter breaks.

Claudia Harrington led Covington with 11 points, four assists and six steals.

Claire Fraley scored nine points and pulled down 12 rebounds, Maggie Anderson had seven, Carlie Besecker scored six points and had five rebounds and Gracie Anderson netted five points and had six steals.

Brooklyn Lavy led Bethel with seven points and seven rebounds and Sarah Johnson had six points and seven rebounds.

Lehman Catholic 41,

Milton-Union 35

SIDNEY — The Lehman Catholic girls basketball team got past Milton-Union Saturday.

Lehman is 6-8 overall and 4-4 in the TRC, while Milton-Union is 6-8 overall and 3-5 in the TRC.

Milton led 12-10 after one quarter, but Lehman took a 21-15 halftime lead and increased it to 31-20 after three quarters.

Jenna Brumbaugh had 13 points and five steals for Milton-Union and Shannon Brumbaugh added eight points and eight rebounds.

Annie Smith had seven rebounds and four steals.

Bethel 45,

Riverside 16

BRANDT — The Bethel girls basketball team improved to 11-1 overall and 6-1 in the TRC with romp over Riverside.

Bethel led 11-6, 24-10 and 35-13 at the quarter breaks.

Karley Moore had 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Kerigan Calhoun had 15 points and six rebounds and Maggie Montgomery had seven steals.

Miami East 65,

Northridge 13

CASSTOWN — The Miami East girls basketball team improved to 9-4 overall and 6-1 in the TRC.

The Vikings led 19-0, 31-3 and 48-10 at the quarter breaks.

Logan Phillips had 12 points for Miami East, while Maryn Gross had 11 points and five steals.

McKayah Musselman had 10 points and five rebounds and Abigail Kadel scored 10 points.

Mara Posey had six rebounds and four assists, Paxton Hunley had five assists and five steals and Jacqueline Kadel had four steals.

Camryn Francis blocked three shots.

Arcanum 56,

Bradford 35

ARCANUM — The Bradford girls basketball team dropped to 9-6 overall and 4-2 in the WOAC.

The Railroaders trailed 15-6, 34-15 and 45-24 at the quarter breaks.

Austy Miller had 10 points, 11 rebounds and four steals.

Rylee Canan scored 13 points and Abby Fike added six points.
