TROY — Mayor Robin Oda and City Engineer Jill Rhoades presented the quarterly “Look Who Is Recycling” award at the Jan. 18 Troy City Council meeting to Roberta Jacobs. Rumpke of Ohio, Inc., the city’s curbside recycling contractor, runs the program as a tool to encourage residential recycling. Awards are given quarterly to city of Troy residents who actively recycle and share their reasons for doing so.

The winner for the fourth quarter of 2021 was Roberta Jacobs of Fleet Road. To answer the question, “Why do you recycle?” Roberta wrote, “Recycling is one of the easiest things we can do to make a positive impact on our environment and communities.”
