Westminster Presbyterian Church serving free luncheon

PIQUA — Please join Westminster Presbyterian Church for God’s Table from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18. They will be serving their traditional Christmas meal of ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, a roll and dessert. Westminster Presbyterian Church is located at 325 W. Ash St,. Piqua. Please enter their parking lot via Caldwell Street. God’s Table is a free-of-charge meal served the third Saturday of the month.

Lunch and Learn in January

TROY — Tipp Monroe Community Services is offering a Lunch and Learn Program on Jan. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The topic is the WACO Aircraft Company and its history. The program will be held at the WACO Air Museum and Aviation Learning Center located at 1865 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy. Registration is required by Jan. 24. The WACO Aircraft Company was the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the country in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s and this museum is dedicated to the plant and the employees that made it great.
