WEST MILTON — Miami East’s Jacob Roeth hit a 3-pointer in the closing seconds to give Miami East a 52-51 victory over Milton-Union in TRC action Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs were coming off a double-overtime loss to Troy Christian on Friday night when the Eagles Chase Dohme hit a similar shot just before the buzzer.

East improved to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the TRC and have a big game Friday with Troy Christian.

Milton-Union dropped to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the TRC.

The Bulldogs will host Covington Friday.

Wes Enis had 34 points, seven rebounds and three steals to lead Miami East.

Roeth had 10 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists and Connor Apple added eight points.

Mitchell Kemp grabbed 10 rebounds.

Blake Brumbaugh had 13 points and four steals for Milton-Union.

Cooper Brown had nine points and six rebounds, Connor Yates had eight points and eight rebounds and Tyler Kress scored seven points.

Milton-Union led 12-3, 27-14 and 41-38 at the quarter breaks.

Bethel 51.

Lehman 49

BRANDT — Bethel boys basketball improved to 3-4 overall and 3-0 in the TRC, while Lehman dropped to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the TRC in another close game.

Bethel led 10-3, 32-14 and 42-28 at the quarter breaks, before Lehman rallied.

Bethel travels to Northridge Friday in a matchup of TRC unbeatens, while Lehman will host Riverside.

Casey Keesee had 27 points for the Bees.

Mike Halleg added eight points, seven rebounds and four assists and Remi Brannan scored six points.

Justin Chapman had 39 points and 10 rebounds for Lehman and Michael McFarland added 14 points and six assists.

Troy Christian 68,

Riverside 57

DEGRAFF — Troy Christian boys basketball team improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the TRC.

The Eagles led 17-13, 32-27 and 50-44 at the quarter breaks.

Troy Christian plays Miami East Friday night.

Chase Dohme — coming off making a game-winning shot Friday night — had 16 points, three assists and five steals for the Eagles.

Lucas Day had 14 points and three steals and Parker Penrod scored 13 points and had three assists.

Ben Major had six points and seven rebounds , Alex Free had six points and three assists and Christian Brusman scored six points.

Noah King had seven rebounds.

Northridge 49,

Covington 40

COVINGTON — Northridge boys basketball team remained unbeaten in TRC play.

Covington drops to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the TRC.

Northridge led 9-7, 22-16 and 34-28 at the quarter breaks.

Covington will play at Milton-Union Friday night.

Cam Kirker led the Buccs with 11 points.

Tyler Alexander scored 10 points, Britton Miller added eight points and Owen Boehringer scored six points.

Bradford 77,

Northridge 12

BRADFORD — Bradford improved to 5-1 overall with a strong defensive effort.

Bradford led 20-4, 39-6 and 64-9 at the quarter breaks.

Austy Miller had 34 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and eight steals.

Rylee Canan had 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Megan Wood had 10 points and seven rebounds and Abby Fike had nine points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Brooklyn Crickmore had seven points and 13 rebounds and Isabella Hamilton had six rebounds.

Bradford plays at Tri-County North Thursday.
