The boys Southwesst District basketball sectional pairings were held Sunday.

DIVISION I

Piqua, 11-7, received the 11th seed in the D-I SuperSectional, while Troy, 8-11, received the 15th seed.

Piqua will open play in the Dayton I sectional at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 against 12th seed Tecumseh, 11-7 at the Vandalia SAC.

The winner will advance to play the winner of eighth seed Sidney, 15-4, and 13th seed Lebanon, 8-11, at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

Troy will open play in the Dayton 3 sectional at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 19 against fourth seed Beavercreek, 11-8 at Centerville High School.

The winner will advance to play the winner of ninth seed Springboro, 7-12 and 14th seed Vandalia-Butler, 7-11 at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 22.

DIVISION II

Tippecanoe, 13-3, received the fifth seed and Milton-Union, 16-5, received the ninth seed in the D-II SuperSectional.

Tipp will open play against 16th seed Eaton, 7-12, at 3 p.m. Feb. 19 at Trent Arena.

The winner will advance to play the winner of second seed Oakwood, 15-3 and 17th seed Thurgood Marshall, 4-16 at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Trent Arena.

Milton-Union will open against 13th seed Waynesville, 8-9, at 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at Trent Arena.

The winner will play the winner the winner of eighth seed Bellbrook, 12-7 and 15th seed Kenton Ridge, 7-12 at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at Trent Arena.

DIVISION III

Miami East, 11-6, received the eighth seed; Bethel, 8-11, received the 13th seed and Covington, 5-14, received the 18th seed in the D-III Super Sectional.

Bethel, 8-11, will open play against 14th seed Dixie, 9-11 at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Vandalia SAC.

The winner will play Miami East at 6 p.m. Feb. 23.

The district semifinal is at 4 p.m. Feb. 28, with top seed Versailles the likely opponent.

Covington will open play against fifth seed Springfield Shawnee, 10-7 at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 at Northmont High School.

The winner will play 20th seed Stivers, 2-16 at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24.

DIVISION IV

In the Piqua D-IV sectional, Troy Christian, 15-4, is the third seed; Bradford, 10-7, is the sixth seed; Newton, 11-6, is the seventh seed and Lehman Catholic, 10-8, is the eighth seed.

Troy Christian and Lehman will meet in the first round at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.

The winner will advance to play fifth seed Fort Loramie, 11-9 at 7 p.m. Feb. 22.

Bradford and Newton will meet in the first round at 7 p.m. Feb. 19.

The winner will play the winner of fourth seed Russia, 12-7 and 10th seed Mississinawa Valley, 3-15 at 7 p.m. Feb. 24.
