Bradford powerlifters to host meet Saturday

KENTON — The Bradford girls won the Kenton powerlifting regional and the boys finished fourth.

Winning for the girls were Shayleigh Wick (115), Jenna Shellabarger (125), Zoe Brewer (135) and Remi Harleman (unlimited).

Taking second were Isabella Painter (125), Isabella Boyer (135), Bella Brewer (175) and Sarah Beckstedt (195), while taking third were Mackenzy Hemmelgarn (115), Emma Smith (145), Elizabeth Skinner (195) and Rebecca Sowers (unlimited).

Taking fourth were Destiny Clark (175) and Morgan Huddelson (195).

Winning for the boys were Josh Derstine (125) and Ben Kitts (145).

Taking third were Brick Burgett (125) and Daniel Smith-Satterwhite (195), while taking fourth were John Troxel (155) and Keith Gaines (210).

Taking fifth were Patrick Puthoff (125) and Shawn Jones (unlimited).

Bradford was coming off a meet at Kenton Ridge were the girls took second and the boys finished fourth.

Winning for the girls was Mackenzy Hemmelgarn (115).

Taking second was Shayleigh Swick (115) and Zoe Brewer (135), while finishing third were Isabella Boyer (135), Sara Beckstedt (195), Remi Harleman (unlimited) and Brooke Phillips (unlimited).

Winning for the boys were Josh Derstine (125), Garrett Trevino (135) and Keaton Mead (155).

Taking second were Ryan Kennedy (175) and Hunter Biddlestone (125), while Ben Kitts (145) finished third.

Bradford will host its annual Push-and-Pull meet Saturday.
