Change to Huber Heights Old Troy Pike lane widening project

HUBER HEIGHTS — The city of Huber Heights has announced a lane change made to the Old Troy Pike/state Route 202 widening project, effective Jan. 4.

A northbound right turn lane will be added, said a press release from the city of Huber Heights. The turn lane will begin in front of Huntington Bank, just after the traffic signal at Burger King. This new turn lane should only be used by vehicles wanting to turn right into Starbucks, Merily Way, or continuing straight to enter the eastbound Interstate 70 highway ramp.

A message board will be placed in front of Huntington Bank to help direct traffic. This extra lane will remain for approximately two months until the contractor comes back to complete the work on the roadway and to install the new traffic signal.
