GREENVILLE — Trilogy Health Services took a step in the right direction by creating its Happy Feet Shoe Program, which provided Registered Apprentices at its Englewood and Greenville locations with new, comfortable shoes. Through partnership via the American Association of Community Colleges, Expanding Community Colleges Apprenticeship (AACC-ECCA) grant that promotes the expansions of registered apprenticeship within community colleges, Edison State Community College’s Center for Workforce Development was proud to partner with Trilogy to provide funding for the shoes.

Trilogy’s goal was to provide its Registered Apprentices with fantastic Brooks-brand footwear to help alleviate sore feet, knee pain, back pain, and fatigue related to improper footwear. The demanding physical duties and often countless hours of standing led to the call of action for support from Trilogy’s Workforce team.

The company worked with a local vendor, Swag Sport Shoes in Louisville, Kentucky, to drop-ship shoes to campuses for qualifying employees, meeting the needs of 386 employees, including 60 in Ohio. Trilogy will continue to support its employees through the program in the future.
