MIAMI COUNTY — The Miami County Gem and Mineral Club is happy to announce their 2022 scholarship offer of $500 to a Miami County high school senior.

The scholarship will be awarded to one high school senior who is enrolled in a high school STEM major with a minimum 3.0 GPA and who will be attending a college course of study in a science major in the 2022-2023 school year. Applications will be available at all of the Miami County high schools through the guidance counselor’s office. T

his year, the Miami County Gem and Mineral Club is opening the scholarship to graduating home school seniors with the same criteria. Applications are due by March 31, 2022. The recipient will be announced at the club’s annual gem and mineral show the last Saturday in April. Applications can also be requested from the Scholarship Committee by contacting them at [email protected].

Just a reminder that the Miami County Gem and Mineral Club holds their meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at the Troy View Church on County Road 25A. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
