CASSTOWN—Emma Hershberger recently competed in the Ohio FFA State Dairy Handlers Career Development Event during the Ohio Spring Dairy Show in Columbus.

Hershberger placed 10th out of 52 contestants and earned a plaque from the Ohio FFA Association.

During the competition, Hershberger led dairy cattle in a formal show setting. She was evaluated on her ability to exhibit the animal to its highest quality and keep show ring alertness. She qualified for the event because of her experience showing dairy animals.
