PIQUA — Joyce E. Robinson, 80, of Piqua, passed away at 12:17 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 1, 1940 in Piqua to the late James Russell and Zora (Vogler) Wheeler. She married Robert Daniel “Dan” Robinson December 2, 1960 in Piqua; and he survives.

Other survivors include one son, James R. “Randy” (Joyce) Robinson of Montgomery, Alabama; two daughters, Dani (Dave) Davis of Piqua, and Tricia (Brian) Schmiesing of Minster; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; and two sisters, Wilma McKinley and Janice (Dennis) Foster all of Piqua. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pat Wheeler; and her brother-in-law, Vernon McKinley.

Mrs. Robinson was a graduate of Piqua Central High School Class of 1958. Joyce loved being a full time mother, and was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed travelling and spending winters in Arizona, and she liked to play cards and Dominos with friends and family. She will be truly missed.

A service to honor her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Lincoln Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
