PIQUA — Longtime basketball coach Dan Penrod recorded his first hole-in-one in 50 years of playing golf Tuesday at Echo Hills.
The local legend used a 7-iron for 120-yard shot on the uphill 17th hole.
Witnessing the ace were long-time friend Dave Selsor and Mark Sowry.

Chris Garrity was second with 38 and Jeff Jennings was third with 40.
